On November 22nd, we went to ULM in Monroe for the Southern Association Jr. Olympics Cross Country Meet. Christopher ran in the boys 8 and under division and won 3rd place. Andrew ran in the boys 11/12 division and won 9th place. Kevin just ran everywhere! Andrew and Christopher both qualified to compete in the National Jr. Olympics in Virginia on December 13th. We really enjoyed watching the boys go through the competition. They both had nervous stomachs, the competitive drive and excitement! They cheered each other on. Andrew warmed Christopher up before his race. . . go Coach Andrew! It was a fun time to be a parent watching your children. . . we were IN THE ZONE! If that wasn't enough excitement and competition for one day. . . we had a swim meet to go to. The boys both swim competively year round, so after the Cross Country meet was over we drove across the street and the boys swam in a swim meet. These boys keep us going!!! We wouldn't have it any other way.
